COVID -19 : MEASURES TO ENSURE GUEST SAFETY



At Baobab Ridge we have responded to the current Covid-19 situation by taking the following responsible measures to keep our guests safe without limiting the enjoyment of your stay:



  • We have installed hand sanitisers in the reception area, dining areas and the pool area.
  • 
  • Your room and all main areas will be cleaned and sanitised to the highest standard with extra care and attention being taken to disinfect all points of frequent contact such as door handles, remote controls, light switches etc.
  • 
  • Pump action amenity bottles in your bathroom will always be disinfected after each check out.
  • 
  • The following high contact areas will be cleaned and disinfected regularly throughout the day or after every use in some cases: Doorknobs - Table surfaces - Hard dining chairs (seat, back, and arms) – Kitchen counters - Public bathroom counters - Faucets and faucet knobs - Toilets (seat and handle) - Light switches - Handrails - TV remote controls - Credit card terminals - Keys.

  • We guarantee that all our crockery and cutlery will be washed at the highest temperatures with dish washing liquid
  • 
  • Masks and individual hand sanitizers are available for your use free of charge at reception.
  • 
  • Our staff will wear masks or screens at all times and will also participate in our responsible and thorough hand washing protocol throughout their shifts.
  • 
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner will continue to be served and we will take your order the night before. The selected items will be served to you at your table, the buffet service we previously offered will not be available at this time. The tables in the dining areas have been distanced according to the recommended norm.
  • 
  • We recommend that you travel with your own water bottle and we will happily refill it for you.
  • 
  • We ask that you pay for your stay and additional services by credit card as we are committed to reducing the cash that we handle as much as possible. Credit card payment terminals are disinfected after each use.
  • 
  • We can communicate with you via SMS before and during your stay if you wish and would require your contact details for this service. You can reply to the SMS messages that have been sent to you, and our management team will respond as soon as possible. We are of course here to attend to your needs so you can go to reception as before.
  • 
  • We have increased our technical and maintenance checks for disinfection of water for consumption and in the pool, and for the correct functioning of laundry equipment, air conditioning units and de-humidification equipment.
  • 
  • Our game drive vehicles will also be disinfected (areas that are touched by hand) and we will ask guests to wear masks and sit apart, if they do not belong to the same family/group.
